What’s New? Until recently, Texas commercial customers have not had an option to get natural gas outside of their local utility. Centerpoint and Atmos, have updated their rate classes allowing customers to finally be able to choose their supplier for natural gas. While there are still requirements and limitations, this is good news for many Texas commercial consumers. These changes have brought about more supplier involvement and we are now able to offer numerous options to commercial natural gas customers in Texas. Commercial industrial customers potentially have options of bundling their natural gas with their electricity allowing additional energy savings.
Who is Eligible: Small commercial and residential customers are still not able to switch away as it isn?t practical because their usage would be too low for them to save money. If you are a commercial natural gas consumer, contact us and we will look into your specific availability. Generally customers spending more than $1500 a month on natural gas are candidates for these new options. Generally customers with more usage can see more savings by switching from the utility. A telemetry device and a designated phone line must be installed at the meter, but even with these investments a decent return on investment can be recouped by the energy savings over the course of a year or so depending on the usage of the consumer and current market rates. We have programs that help finance the cost of the hardware along with your energy charge.
How to Get Started: Send us a recent bill copy along with a completed Letter of Authorization Form. These documents give us the data necessary to have your account custom priced. Your assigned account manage will work with you personally and is here to handle any needs that you might have. We will initiate a pricing event where numerous providers bid against each other to get you the lowest rate.
